SUMMARY
Recurrent headaches and migraine are one of the most common health problems for children and adolescents. Many preventive treatments used in adults are routinely used in children, but lack clear evidence in this population. We present a case of a pediatric patient diagnosed with chronic daily headache, where the multi-pharmacological approach with coenzyme Q10 and botulinum toxin type A has significantly improved the headache attack frequency and the patient’s quality of life.
Key Words: Botulinum A toxin, coenzyme Q, ubiquinone, chronic daily headache, headache disorders, migraine.
